The Tonquin Employment Area (Area 48) design team has prepared three concept plan alternatives that can be found in the links to the right (under “TEA Preliminary Concept Plans). The next step in the project is review of the three concept plan alternatives for compliance with the project goals and evaluation criteria.

The completed review of the three concept plan alternatives will be available for public comment at an Open House in October 2009 (date to be determined).

The City of Sherwood is in the process of concept planning the Tonquin Employment Area, approximately 300 acres of land east of the current City limits. The land was brought into the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) as employment/industrial land in 2004. The public is welcome to attend all Stakeholder Advisory Committee meetings
